Definitivamente en todo hogar con bebés o niños pequeños no debe faltar este libro, es completísimo y es realmente impresionante como acierta en todo. Te dice: "al llegar a los x meses de edad tu hijo va a comenzar a hacer esto..." y realmente se cumple! y lo mejor es que no es solo un libro de cuestiones médicas, va mucho más allá, te dice como reaccionar ante múltiples situaciones, desde las rabietas, hasta niños con problemas de desarrollo mental, etc. Es la mejor adquisición que puedes hacer al tener un hijo y el mejor regalo que podrás dar a tus amigos y parientes que esperan un bebé.

These 'Art Of ...' books are not exactly what someone might think. They are not the art of the film, per se, but the art that was used by the creators along the way while they made their final decisions about what everything, from characters to backgrounds to heroes and villains, will eventually look like when the film is done. They're better suited for art and film students to see the creative process in action than fans of the film looking to relive a special moment that meant so much to them while they watched it on the screen.That said, they are a wonderful addition to your library, and I can't recommend the Pixar ones highly enough. :)

I wish I'd purchased the physical copy. I was happy to learn the stories behind bits of a film that I love so much. I could hear the soundtrack in my head the whole time. Buy it! Now!

Beautiful Book!I have my fair share of Disney Pixar Art books, and while I love them all, this one is one of my favorites.It's divided into classic Movie Art Book sections, but all the art is wonderful! The character design sketches for Mr. Fredrickson on the inside cover are just endearing, and I particularly like that aspect of the book.While a lot of the art is digital now, much of it was also brilliant gouache, which is lovely.I recommend this for any collector of art books, or even if you're just an avid fan of the movie, because it really is a wonderful companion to the film itself.

I like the way the book is set up, very easy to read. The front of the book has a drill matrix which helps you easily find the drills. Other than a couple of drills, most information here is very elementary and for someone who has never coached or played. I am a little more experienced as a coach, but still found some nuggets of good information. I believe you will learn something by purchasing this book even if it just provides additional plays.

This book helped to make my first coaching experience go better than it would have without. It was definitely lined up with how I felt 3rd and 4th graders should be coached, and while I had more players than most teams it wasn’t hard to adjust things to work for us.

I've been playing basketball all my life and love the sport but coaching is completely different. Knowing what to do and knowing what to teach are two different things. This book was easy to read and is a great tool to get started with. It explains the fundamentals that the kids need to know and gives a reasonable amount of drills to reinforce those skills. I use something from it in every practice.Please read the title, it tells you everything you need to know."Coaching Youth Basketball" - This book is about the basic fundamentals to teach to new, inexperienced or even older kids who have been poorly coached. It's an introduction to dribbling, passing, shooting, offense, and defense. They also touch on in-bound plays and beating a press."Only the Essential Drills, Practice Plans, Plays, and Coaching Tips" - This is a good thing, it's easy to read, understand and teach. It's a good starting point, as you and your team advance you will need more drills, plays, etc.

I bought this to coach my sons 10 and under team. I haven't played basketball in over 20 years. This book is very detailed and has drills for offences and defense. I am extremely pleased with this book.

I am new to coaching this year (4-5 grade boys) so I needed a book that would demonstrate the basics as I did not have any formal training growing up. The book is easy to read and lays out the basics from individual skill techniques to defensive and offensive sets for the team to run. It also has a schedule list of things to run a practice so you do not have to come up with one yourself to start. I have found this book to be very helpful. The only reason that I did not give it 5 stars is that I was hoping that it would contain more "fun drills" for the kids to do (kids really like the "knock out" game in it). Overall, worth the money..

Concise and free flowing material. Great starter book for any youth coach boys or girls, community school or private. Highly recommended

I can easily teach science and math no problem even if I am not given any curriculum, but ask me to teach art and I have a panic attack. I love art I really do and I think its a very important part of a rounded education, but I am more of a craft person. I never took formal art unless you count that elective on American art history in which we just learned well history (not art theory or even how to draw). So I basically had NO clue what should be taught for formal art education in any way. I found a lot of free stuff online, but with no idea what was or was not appropriate. It was too time consuming to try to figure it all out... so I did some research on amazon looking at different books and bought this one by Evan-Moor. All I can say is thank you for showing a systematic approach to learning formal art without a lot of unnecessary wordage that I do not have the time to read! I literally can pick up this book and open it to the first lesson and just go (as long as I have a stocked art supply cabinet). If I really want to find a handout on a particular topic - it really is not that hard now because at least I know what I am looking for because I know what topics to teach and focus on. So thank for this book from the bottom of my heart... now I can go back to planning excellent science experiments ;-)

Purchased this book as a quick reference for simple ways to teach some basic art concepts when I was recently hired as an Art Teacher for an after school program.This book is REALLY well outlined and illustrated, so it's very easy to read and follow if you need an idea in a pinch! Even someone who is subbing for Art (but maybe isn't as familiar with the concepts) can easily create a simple lesson for any child!Has some great back-pocket projects that could be substantial for the youngest kids, and can ben quickly implemented. Definitely a great book to keep on hand when teaching art to young kids, especially for an ART CAMP setting!My only complaint would be that a majority of the projects include PAINT, which is a bit more difficult to use in the program I am in, and some of the projects seem a little "young", but all in all, a great starter point for planning and reference!

Great for someone that has no idea about art as a beginner. Excellent for a special education teacher to teacher something else different as a therapy. It has different projects for each lesson. It covers pretty much every subject in art.

We love this book and have added it to our curriculum. I have a first grader and a kindergartner and the lessons inside are easily taylored to fit their needs and understanding. There are some other lessons that are beyond their grasp, but we just skip those. Each chapter covers a different concept such as lines, color, texture, etc and has several activities for each chapter. You can do them all or just pick a few and move on to the next chapter. Its great and can be used multiple years to fill in with the activities you skipped or repeat the ones they really liked.

Bought this book for homeschooling my son. He is currently in 1st grade (6 yo). Some of the activities/projects and concepts were a bit advanced, but easily adjusted to his learning level. Each concept has multiple activities/projects to reinforce the concept. Some of these activities are geared more toward the classroom and multiple people. Easily solved, as I did the activity as well! My child enjoyed my interaction and I had fun.This book will last many years and grow with my child's abilities.

This isn't a "teaching" guide at all. It merely is a project book. Yes it encompasses the elements in a hands on manner but that is all. I had to supplement with other books to teach the art lesson and use this book for projects. The artists in the back are really the only teaching aspect of this book. The color wheel worksheets were good but again not great.

So far, this is the best art book I have found for homeschooling my Kindergartener and 1st Grader. I teach art but more for older children and I have hate the other books I’ve purchased. This one is awesome and a lot of fun to work through together.

This has a really nice selection of projects for children. So often I pick up these type books at the library only to get them home and say under my breath how thankful I am I didn't buy them. This is well worth having.

Charles Ghigna is a poet, children's author, and nationally syndicated feature writer who helps promote the love of children's literature by speaking at schools, colleges, conferences, and libraries. Yesterday, my four-year-old son spotted his first millipede. (My husband called it a centipede -- Thank goodness for Google!) Anyway, the multi-footed creature soon became a math topic. And that math topic led to me finding this book.Although my little boy can read only a few words on his own, we have started incorporating "easy readers" into his story times. They tend to be shorter, so instead of reading three books, we can easily read five books in the same amount of time. They also tend to feature repetition and showcase certain words so that kids can learn to read on their own. They can also be really boring for the adult reader. Two things save One Hundred Shoes from falling into that final category: Charles Ghigna's wit and Bob Staake's artwork.One Hundred Shoes is a clever and rather sweet book in poem. Charles Ghigna creates such wonderful "word pictures" that the poem could stand alone without illustration. He also, however, creates such marvelous phrases that a talented illustrator can walk right in (pun intended), and Bob Staake does.Bob Staake takes the witty phrases and amplifies them to the point of the hilarious with his brilliant and silly illustrations. Every pages vibrates with activity and humor, but, as a Chucks girl, I have to say that my favorite two-page spread has the sneakers on it.

My 5yo thinks this is just the funniest book. She's still at a Level 1 Step into Reading level, so she doesn't understand the simple math concepts in it yet. Aside from the word "centipede," the verbal reading skills are still at a Level 1 in this book.

First of all, those in the know will have to get past the fact that despite the meaning of its name, a centipede tends NOT to have 100 feet. Those who can are certain to enjoy this simple story about shoes, feet and multiples of 100. Fortunately, the story is short, fast-paced and has logical rhymes. Unfortunately, the "math" part is really only about three sentences long and includes only: two times fifty, five times twenty and ten times ten. Even so, with arithmetic seeming to sometimes take a back seat to reading and writing, this is an easy, fun way to expose your younger reader to the number 100 and some of its factors. Reading level is K through Second grade. This would be a great book to read during 100th Day of School celebrations. Also good: Mary Clare Loves to Share.

Great book. However, there's one page that shows nearly all 100 shoes, but only like 98. I'm like, really? If we're going to count the freaking shoes at least have all 100. Still a fun book for my 5 year old.

My 3 year old granddaughter loves this story and asks me to read it over and over. The rhyming makes it fun to listen to. She loves looking for the centiped's tail throughout the story.

My grandson read this book tonight and he was confused at first as to why he needed shoes but he did enjoy the little story. I like these simple reading books for the kids to start out reading with. There isn't a lot on a page to frustrate and overwhelm them.

My 1st grade daughter really enjoyed this book, while it didn't have more words then some of her Level 1 readers it did contain some challenging words which was nice, she loved counting all the shoes and ways to make 100, she did great reading it to me.

The book is written like he is a professor or if your in his blogging school .he taĺks about blogging in a different way than any of the blog books yove read.A more realistic way of blogging .A lot of blogging ebooks are like 5 pages and dont give you half of the infornation that isaac does .the only chapter i did not agree with was chapter 15 .i also did not join his list ,download his plugìn .since it looks like he tryìng to sell you stuff with his list and mentorship program. So if you just read to chapter 14 youll be just fine.the main key to isaac is you have to be consistent.

I am relatively new to blogging and I have engaged in a lot of research and reading to gain insight into freelance writing and blogging. I was in search of doable monetization strategies and this little book came along and delivered for me. I purchased this title because of another book summary by the same author. Of course what pulled me to this author was his second book, titled " Getting to $2,000 a month in 90 Days." Who would not be pulled in by that title? Nevertheless, it lead me to this short read and I am grateful; I purchased both books. This book provided an understandable overview and a good place to start if you are new to blogging and freelance writing. This was a welcomed score, it gave me practical and candid thoughts, ideas, and actions to take to be successful as a blogger. I found the information straight forward concerning a variety of topics. The author does a great job of explaining the different types of blogs and how to monetize them. There are some good strategies including promotion of affiliate links that will benefit both the beginner and the advanced blogger.

This was an easy to read and understand book. I've blogged before, but this time I want to take my new blog to the next level. Looking forward to using these strategies.
